Author Guidelines
International Journal of Clinical, Biomedical and Health Sciences Research (IJCBHSR) welcomes original scholarly work in clinical medicine, biomedical sciences, health sciences, public health, allied health sciences, and related fields.
Authors should carefully follow the requirements below before submitting a manuscript.
Manuscript Types
The journal considers:
- Original Research Articles
- Case Reports
- Case Series
- Short Communications
- Editorials
- Commentaries
- Letters to the Editor
Originality
Manuscripts must be original and must not:
- Have been previously published in substantially similar form
- Be under consideration by another journal
- Contain plagiarized material
Authors must disclose any related manuscripts, preprints, conference publications, or overlapping publications.
Language
Manuscripts must be written in clear academic English.
Authors are responsible for ensuring that the manuscript is grammatically and scientifically understandable.
Manuscript Preparation
Manuscripts should normally contain:
- Title
- Author names and affiliations
- ORCID iDs, where available
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Main text
- References
- Tables and Figures, where applicable
- Ethics statement, where applicable
- Funding statement
- Conflict of Interest statement
- Author Contributions
- Data Availability statement
- AI-use statement, where applicable
Original Research Articles
The preferred structure is:
Introduction → Methods → Results → Discussion → Conclusion
Authors should use appropriate reporting guidelines where applicable.
Abstract and Keywords
Research articles should normally include a structured or appropriately organized abstract containing the main purpose, methods, key results, and conclusion.
Provide 3–6 keywords that accurately describe the manuscript.
References
References should be accurate, relevant, and consistently formatted.
The journal recommends Vancouver style for biomedical and clinical manuscripts.
Authors should verify all references, including:
- Author names
- Article title
- Journal title
- Year
- Volume and issue
- Page numbers or article number
- DOI, where available
Tables and Figures
Tables and figures should:
- Be numbered consecutively
- Have clear titles/captions
- Be referred to in the text
- Contain accurate information
- Not unnecessarily duplicate information already presented in the text
Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for copyrighted material reproduced from other sources.
Research Ethics
Research involving human participants must have appropriate ethics committee/IRB approval where required.
Manuscripts involving identifiable individuals must comply with appropriate informed-consent and privacy requirements.
Animal research must comply with applicable ethical and welfare standards.
Clinical trials should be prospectively registered where applicable, and the registration number should be provided in the manuscript.
Authorship
All listed authors must have made a substantial contribution to the work and must approve the final manuscript.
Authors should provide an Author Contributions statement, preferably using the CRediT taxonomy.
All authors are responsible for the integrity of the work.
Conflict of Interest
All authors must disclose relevant financial and non-financial conflicts of interest.
If no conflict exists, authors should state:
Conflict of Interest: The authors declare that they have no conflicts of interest.
Funding
All sources of financial or material support must be disclosed.
If there was no external funding, authors should state:
Funding: The authors received no external funding for this work.
Data Availability
Authors should provide a Data Availability Statement where applicable.
For example:
Data Availability: The data supporting the findings of this study are available from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.
Authors must not claim that data are available if they cannot actually provide access under the stated conditions.
Artificial Intelligence
AI tools cannot be listed as authors.
Authors remain responsible for the accuracy, originality, integrity, and proper attribution of their manuscript.
Any substantive use of AI-assisted technologies in manuscript preparation should be disclosed, including the tool used and its purpose.
Preprints
The journal may consider manuscripts previously posted as legitimate preprints.
Authors must disclose the preprint during submission and provide its DOI or URL where available.
A manuscript must not simultaneously be under consideration by another journal.
Submission
Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal's online OJS submission system.
The submitting author should ensure that:
- All authors have approved the manuscript
- Author information is complete and accurate
- Required ethical approvals are available
- Conflicts of interest are disclosed
- Funding is disclosed
- The manuscript is not under consideration elsewhere
- All required files are uploaded
Peer Review
All eligible manuscripts undergo editorial assessment and, where appropriate, external peer review according to the journal's Peer Review Policy.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance or publication.
Publication Fees
IJCBHSR currently charges no fees to authors.
There is:
- No submission fee
- No Article Processing Charge (APC)
- No publication fee
- No page charge
- No colour charge

Published articles are freely available immediately upon publication.
